these wonderful people are so wonderful for getting me back my subscription!

also, because of the craziness that began when i revealed i was selling actions later this year, i think i will begin selling them sooner rather than later.
otherwise you guys'd have to wait until my new site is up, and it could be a while.

so, i'll work out a way to do it. right now, despite m not wanting me to sell them at all ('you'll create more competition for us nirrimi. i won't let you sell these' haha) i'm going to price them at $15 AUS ($12 USD) each, at least in the beginning.

these are actions i use myself. sometimes i use them to batch edit a heap of shots, and sometimes i use several of them on one image. so these are pretty much my babies!

there will also be a sharpening action and eyes action, which it hurts me to sell, because these are my secrets. but this will all be towards my new camera :)

i will put them up, with examples of what they can do to your photos. it's mostly curvework so it leaves very little quality loss, unlike a lot of actions which do so much to images they've lost horrible amounts quality by the end.

tell me if this all sounds good :) + keep an eye out!

I would not recommend selling your actions... Not when you're only just getting your career really off the ground. That'd be like selling a template to create a Nirrimi-esque image. Okay, not everyone will have your imagination, creativity and vision but you're selling a formula. A proven formula.

Don't do it babe.

No way! I'm excited to see them, that's for sure. Like everyone else I kind of agree with m, magicians don't give away their tricks, you know? :)

Keep some to yourself. Yes, it'll bring money, but maybe there are other ways. Save the ones you like the most and don't save them, like the eyes! I know, it sucks for US, but I wouldn't wanna give something that I worked so hard on away!

Anyway, good luck raising the money.

M.

I think you should keep your secrets to yourself. You've worked hard to discover them and it's your personal style. I think your work is great and it would be a shame to see people using presets from nirimmi. I'm not a fan of presets at all unless they are ones that you've made yourself. Don't do it n. (=

your actions would be ever so good, and selling them i think is the best way to go, rather then just handing them out. then there would be screams of 'NO' echoing from all around. hope you earn enough for your new camera :) I look forward to see some of your actions.
